We have a 2 bedroom house at the beach ....Central Pacific side, and just 1 1/2 hours from the airport in San Jose. Close to the national parks for hiking, exploring, snorkeling, wildlife, etc.... This house is in the small village of Esterillos Oeste. A family atmosphere, with plenty to do for all ages...swimming, surfing, tide pools, beach bars...walking distance to 2 grocery stores, 6-7 restaurants, family bakery, fish market...you don't really need a car here... It's full modernized with cable tv, dvd player, high speed internet, ac thru-out, 2 new queen pillow topped beds, and a futon.
