Hi, we are looking to swap a week's stay in our home in Kailua, Oahu (consistently ranked one of world's best beaches) with 5 nights in a 2-3 BR home in London or Rome conveniently located close to mass transit and tourist destinations. Timing would be in the first week of August 2013. We are less than 1km to two beautiful beach accesses (one with big surf and another more tranquil cove, sea turtles and panoramic views of amazing blue bay against green mountains) We have three bedrooms with queen beds in each, a den with a single bed and one sofa bed in the living room. Our house will comfortably sleep 9 and has three full baths and a large remodeled kitchen open to dining and TV rooms. Very large covered lanai with patio seating set and table and chairs for 8-10 - this space looks out to a grass yard, tropical plants and an in-ground pool. The Obama Winter Vacation Home is located 600 ft away from our home (he is there as I type this ad) and access to downtown Honolulu is easy and convenient from our neighborhood. Bikes, beach chairs, boogie boards, snorkels, fins, and single kayak available for use. Also willing to rent for $2200 for one week (6 nights) in early August.
