The design portrays a serene, beautiful Native American woman, in what would appear to be a Tai Chi pose, giving off a feeling of peace, confidence and power.
The painting is approx 48" x 36" stretched and mounted on a wood frame with NO glass.
The artists, Popo & Ruby Lee, were represented for many years by Swanson Art Galleries in the San Francisco Bay Area and their work is collected throughout the USA and Europe.
Ruby Lee is still involved in the art world, but in film - http://www.rubylee.us/index.html

I fell in love with the works of Popo & Ruby Lee back in the early 1980's, and was only able to purchase lithographs and prints until I found this piece at a small art show in Maiden Lane, San Francisco. Out of all of their pieces, this was the one I wanted, and so I bought it directly from the Artists, in San Francisco, in early 1985, and it is signed by them. It is a one owner painting in excellent condition and comes from a smoke and pet free environment.
This is a rare opportunity to acquire one of their nicest pieces.
