Well, over a hundred years ago, this family of "hunters" would go out in their canoe and shoot into a 600 flock of ducks,geese, etc. and take the carcus to the butcher who would clean them and that's how they got their name "Market Gunner" and you would buy them from the market. Filled with nautical prints, paintings, duck species, as well as the antique fishing poles, traps, and assorted memorabilia of the "Market Gunner" who lived in the home for over 100 years. their names and recipes for "shot/wad/powder" for each hunted species is on the wall in the attic....be sure to look for it. Filled with 3 twin beds each in a private room on the 3rd floor, and 2 double beds each in a private room on the 2nd floor, this property sleeps 7 in beds, one on the long sofa, and sleeping bags for the children. Nightly rate is $285.00, two nights is $570, week of 7 days is $1995 to house your friends/family in a Christmas decorated historic house that is a retired Bed and breakfast inn. There is plenty of lighted parking out front as we are the only house on the block that parks in front. The only other neighbors, one on each side, park on the side streets. We are easy to find just off NJ State Road #630 aka, Cooper Street. We are 5 minutes from Exit 45B on US #295, and 10 Minutes off NJ Turnpike. Our street, connects at right angle with US Route #130, and we are one mile West till you hit the river. Have the family enjoy the ambience of sleeping in this historic home, while watching the tug boats, and freighters move up and down the Delawre River. We are on the Riverbank just across from the beautiful Neshaminy State Park.
