Hawaii Oceanfront Condo Pono Kai Resort (Kapaa) $900 1bd 740sqft

I have a variety of condo sizes availible at this resort in Kauai. I've been going to Hawaii for years but after my first trip to Kauai, I knew I found my favorite. It's very small town and laid back Hawaiian. This resort is just inside the small town of Kapaa, on the east side of the island. The resort is right on the ocean. Some buildings are as close as 30 yards from the water. The further out you make your reservation the better chance you have to get the type and building location you want. The one bedrooms are 740 SqFt with a separate bedroom and a sleeper sofa in the living room. Each unit also has a full kitchen. In the videos room B305 is in three sections. The first one is the one that shows the room number. The other two are the one's that don't show the room number. I can also book a one bedroom with a loft that basically is another bedroom upstairs. These sleep six. The layout is the same except it has the upstairs loft. All of the units have air conditioning and dishwashers. Laundry is located on the ground floor of each building. Next, two bedroom units are availible. They are 1140 SqFt and sleep six. These units also have two bathrooms for more privacy. A second option for the two bedrooms are a slightly larger unit at 1240 SqFt.. All buildings are only three stories tall and each building has an elevator but the larger two bedrooms are only two stories high attached to the ends of each building. The elevators go to these units also. The last two bedroom availible is a two bedroom with a loft. These will sleep eight people. There are only six of these units so if you need one of these, it's best to contact me as soon as you can so I can check availability. One bedrooms start at $875 for the week. Two bedrooms start at $1150 for the week. Checkin days are Wednesday and Saturday. Airfare is a little cheaper during the week. The only other fee is at checkout, Hawaii has an occupancy tax. For a one bedroom that runs about $24 for the week, the two bedroom runs about $42 for the week. There is a fee for Wifi in the room but it is free by the pool and in the lobby. Laundry is $1.25 a load. In room safes are $2.50 a day if you need one. Housekeeping comes at midweek for a light cleaning and they come every other day to drop off more towels. The airport you will be flying into is in Lihue(LIH), it is eight miles from the resort. You don't have to rent a car on Kauai, especially if you stay at the Pono Kai because Kapaa with Restaurants and shopping are all within walking distance. There is a bus stop right in front of the resort also,but I still recommend a rental car to get the full enjoyment of the island.
