The house is located across the street from the beach, with a spectacular view of the water, crashing waves, and beautiful Sunny Cove Beach. It's a 1950s Americana style house, originally built by actor Lloyd Bridges for his sister. We've kept the theme, decorating it as a "summer camp / winter lodge" complete with an oversized pool table with a view of the ocean. The house comfortably sleeps 13-16, while also having a layout that is great for a smaller group as well. The decoration is charming and also playful, evoking the spirit of Santa Cruz relaxation, beauty, and fun. The house is also well equipped with many amenities and supplies. There are several great walks from the house, and it is a quick drive to the most famous Santa Cruz attractions. The house is steps away from Sunny Cove Beach, a famous "local" spot known for boogie boarding and close to Santa Cruz surf breaks including 26th Ave and Pleasure Point. While there is plenty to do in Santa Cruz, we have hosted hundreds of guests-- everyone's top activity is to do nothing. Sunny Cove Retreat is an amazing, one-of-a-kind vacation house. This deposit is non-refundable. You may send us payment via Paypal or mail us a check. 2) Please send the remaining 50% of the total rental cost no later than 60 days prior to your arrival date. If payment is not received by this date, the deposit paid is not refundable and your reserved dates will become available to other parties.
